Prof. Sebastião Feyo de Azevedo elected President of the Engineering Academy

Sebastião Feyo de Azevedo, Emeritus Professor of DEQ and current president of the Porto Municipal Assembly, was recently elected president of the Engineering Academy.

The team led by the former Rector of the U.Porto committed itself to the ‘Programa Mais‘, which presents a set of proposals that contribute to “a more ethical Portugal, socially fairer, more informed, self-critical, more transparent, with greater international projection and more technically, scientifically and economically developed”. The aim is to “face environmental threats with more conviction, influence international policies and thus contribute to Peace in the World”.
