Launch and presentation: “A Relevância da Indústria Química e o Seu Contributo para a Sociedade”

The presentation of the book “Relevância da Indústria Química e o Seu Contributo para a Sociedade” by Prof. José Luis Figueiredo, emeritus professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering of FEUP, took place on 15 September in the library of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP). This book is part of the Amélia de Mello Foundation (FAM) initiative to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Alfredo da Silva’s birth, and resulted from a partnership between the FAM and the DEQ-FEUP.

Besides the author, Professor José Luís Figueiredo, the session counted with the presence of João Falcão e Cunha (Director of FEUP), Vasco de Mello (President of FAM), António Cunha (President of CCDRN), João de Mello (President of Bondalti), João Fugas (Administrator of Bondalti) and Henrique Mota (Principia Editora).
