Research units
Scientific research in DEQ is centered on the three Research Units that the department hosts: CEFT, LEPABE and LSRE-LCM. These three research laboratories joined in consortium to form ALiCE, the largest Portuguese Associated Laboratory in Chemical Engineering and with a very relevant intervention in the areas of Biological Engineering and Environmental Engineering.
