Ana Rita Lado Ribeiro, researcher of the Separation and Reaction Processes Laboratory – Laboratory of Catalysis and Materials (LSRE-LCM) of the Chemical Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), has been granted with a funding of 1.5 million euros from the European Research Council (ERC) for a period of five years. The Starting Grant, which aims to support the early career of young independent researchers with a promising scientific track record and who have an ambitious and innovative scientific project, will be applied to the development of the project ERA-ARE – A new ERA for environmental risk assessment: chirality as a tool to promote environmentally safe drugs.
