DEQ researcher is the second fastest firefighter in the country

Lucília Ribeiro, researcher at LSRE-LCM, was the second fastest female firefighter (aged 30 to 34 years) in the edition of the Stairs of Humanity, held at Bom Jesus Hill, in Braga.

The event had 611 firefighters, 136 of which were women, who climbed the 566 steps of the Bom Jesus de Braga Staircase, a UNESCO World Heritage site, carrying around 30 kilos of urban firefighting material.
