Chemical Engineering of U.Porto, according to the assessment made by the QS World University Rankings by Subject, is among the 101 and 150 best internationally and in first place nationally (ex aequo with the University of Lisbon).
Promoted by the British consultancy firm Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the 2024 edition of the QS World University Ranking assessed the performance of several universities based on data from surveys to employers and academics around the world, as well as bibliometric information taken from the scientific database Scopus/Elsevier.
