The Portuguese duo Ana Walgode and Pedro Walgode, student of the Master’s Degree in Bioengineering and former student of the Doctoral Programme in Chemical and Biological Engineering, respectively, became world champion in figure skating, in pairs dance, at the World Skate Games 2022, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The pair, who had reached the first position in the ‘style dance’ competition, regained the top spot with the ‘freedance’ event, winning the World Champion title for Portugal for the first time.
