ALiCE researchers were present at Encontro Ciência 2024, that took place on July 3 – 5th, at Alfandega Porto Congress Center. Organised by FCT, and co-organized by the University of Porto this year’s motto was “+Science for Health and global well-being”.
ALiCE was invited to participate in the science and technology exhibition where some demonstrations of research topics of ALiCE where presented to the attending public. During the exhibition, ALiCE researcher Joana Lopes was interviewed by the TV program “Falar Global” (full program here – in Portuguese)
ALiCE was also the co-organizer of the session panel “ The role of biotechnology in healthcare”. Rita Lado, from ALiCE/LSRE-LCM was invited plenary speaker in the session “One health”. Several students presented their work on the e-poster sessions during the 3 days of the meeting.
