Francisco Galindo Rosales, Assistant Professor at DEQ and researcher at CEFT, took office as President of the Portuguese Society of Rheology (PSR) on 13 June 2023.

Rheology is an area of knowledge which is used in Portugal by a large community of scientists and technicians in various sectors of the academic and industrial world. The Portuguese Society of Rheology was formally established on 11 December 1997. Since its foundation, its main purpose is to bring together and promote the interaction of all the people with interest in the several branches of Rheology at national and international level. The new direction has as main goal to dynamize and increase SPR’s resonance in the social, academic and industrial sphere.
