SUMMARY:2nd DelNAM Summer School "FISHing Bacteria"
DESCRIPTION:The 2nd DelNAM Summer School "FISHing Bacteria" will take place
  on the 4th-6th of May 2021 and is organized by the H2020 project DelNAM.\
 n\nThis summer school will include theoretical sessions and hands-on pract
 ical sessions on the FISH technique and its applications. The theoretical 
 sessions will take place ONLINE on the first day of the event (May 4th). T
 he practical sessions will happen IN PERSON\, at the Department of Chemica
 l Engineering from FEUP (May 5th and 6th)\, and will include the design o
 f oligonucleotides to target bacteria\, standard FISH on planktonic and mi
 xed biofilms\, as well as variants including the application of liposomes\
 , microfluidics and spectral image analysis.
