Twenty-three researchers from the Department of Chemical Engineering of FEUP are among the most cited researchers in the world! Stanford University has recently published an update of the most cited scientists worldwide, taking as reference Scopus, widely recognized abstract and citation database covering thousands of academic journals, until August 2021.<\/p>\n
The database covers 22 areas and 176 disciplines, presenting a selection of scientists whose published research has accelerated progress in their respective fields, also influencing the productivity of other researchers’ work.<\/p>\n
Based on these indicators, two lists have been created: one that measures impact over the course of a career, and one focused on impact in the last year alone.<\/p>\n
