Despite his retirement from teaching, this emeritus professor of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto continues to research and publish. THE MASTER OF CATALYSIS<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Catalysis allows chemical reactions to be accelerated and their final result to be guided. It is present in more than 80 per cent of chemical processes and is of considerable value as it represents between 30 and 40 per cent of the GDP of developed countries. Researcher Jos\u00e9 Lu\u00eds Figueiredo, from FEUP’s\u00a0 associated laboratory ALICE, is one of the major national specialists in this field.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>
