MOORE medal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Carla Pereira, former DEQ student, will be awarded the SCI GORDON E. MOORE medal. This prestigious award recognises success in innovation, reflected in both market impact and improved quality of life, early in one&#8217;s career.<\/p>\n<p>Carla Pereira received her PhD at FEUP in 2009 with the thesis <em>&#8220;Process Intensification for the Green Solvent Ethyl Lactate Production based on Simulated Moving Bed and Pervaporation Membrane Reactor&#8221;<\/em>, under the guidance of Prof. Al\u00edrio Rodrigues and Dr. Viviana Silva (now at BASF), both from <a href=\"https:\/\/lsre-lcm.fe.up.pt\">LSRE-LCM<\/a>.
