The meeting (led by Eric Schaer, chairman of the WPE\/EFCE) was attended by about 20 people, mainly from several countries in Europe, but also from Australia.<\/p>\n<p>Among several issues discussed, the following should be highlighted:<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-1 fusion_builder_column_1_1 1_1 fusion-one-full fusion-column-first fusion-column-last fusion-column-no-min-height\" style=\"--awb-bg-size:cover;--awb-margin-bottom:0px;\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-column-wrapper-legacy\"><ul style=\"--awb-size:15px;--awb-iconcolor:#1e73be;--awb-line-height:25.5px;--awb-icon-width:25.5px;--awb-icon-height:25.5px;--awb-icon-margin:10.5px;--awb-content-margin:36px;\" class=\"fusion-checklist fusion-checklist-1 fusion-checklist-default type-icons\"><li class=\"fusion-li-item\" style=\"\"><span class=\"icon-wrapper circle-no\"><i class=\"fusion-li-icon fa fa-angle-right\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><\/span><div class=\"fusion-li-item-content\">Publication of the final version of the document reflecting the WPE\/EFCE Recommendations for Education in Chemical Engineering (prepared following the changes made by EUR-ACE to the recommendations for 1st and 2nd cycle programmes in engineering);<\/div><\/li><li class=\"fusion-li-item\" style=\"\"><span class=\"icon-wrapper circle-no\"><i class=\"fusion-li-icon fa fa-angle-right\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><\/span><div class=\"fusion-li-item-content\">Share of several pedagogical experiences with new teaching methodologies (namely on virtual teaching and assessment and digitalisation, besides distance learning, online courses, self-study and virtual tools), all very relevant in the period we are going through;<\/div><\/li><li class=\"fusion-li-item\" style=\"\"><span class=\"icon-wrapper circle-no\"><i class=\"fusion-li-icon fa fa-angle-right\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><\/span><div class=\"fusion-li-item-content\">Information on formats (presential vs. online) of various congresses in the field of chemical engineering, with sessions on education foreseen (e.g. 14th Mediterranean Congress of Chemical Engineering; CHISA 2020 and ECCE13);<\/div><\/li><li class=\"fusion-li-item\" style=\"\"><span class=\"icon-wrapper circle-no\"><i class=\"fusion-li-icon fa fa-angle-right\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><\/span><div class=\"fusion-li-item-content\">WPE participation in webinars organised by EFCE in November\/December 2020;<\/div><\/li><li class=\"fusion-li-item\" style=\"\"><span class=\"icon-wrapper circle-no\"><i class=\"fusion-li-icon fa fa-angle-right\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><\/span><div class=\"fusion-li-item-content\">Exchange of views on the state\/evolution\/news in the field of chemical engineering education in the various countries, with reference to the global pandemic situation due to COVOID-19.
