It is an initiative that will involve several European universities in the development of innovative solutions &#8211; based on biofilms &#8211; to increase microbial safety in the food industry.<\/p>\n<p>This European project has as main objective &#8220;to increase the scientific capacity of the Biofilm Engineering Laboratory (BEL) in the fields of surface modification and biofilm analysis&#8221;.
