Doctoral Programme in Chemical and Biological Engineering <\/strong>(PDEQB)<\/strong><\/h2>\n

This programme aims to provide advanced training in Chemical and Biological Engineering and in related areas such as Environment, Bioengineering, Energy and Materials, with a view to preparing highly qualified professionals, to lead innovation, research and development activities.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Doctoral Program in Refining, Petrochemical and Chemical Engineering (PDERPQ)<\/strong><\/h2>\n

PDERPQ-EngIQ was created in order to satisfy the training needs in a knowledge area where several national and multinational companies operate in Portugal, in the context of the Association of the Petrochemical, Chemical and Refining Industries (AIPQR). The program takes involves various Portuguese Universities that have Chemical Engineering degrees, allowing to combine skills, diverse experiences and material resources existing in the various institutions.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Doctoral Program in Environmental Engineering (PDEA)<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Doctoral Program in Environmental Engineering focuses on a multidisciplinary, advanced and comprehensive approach to the diagnosis, prevention and resolution of environmental problems of any nature. Students will develop their research thesis in any of the FEUP Departments from the first year, under the supervision of an advisor. The research will preferentially target the fundamental understanding of the basic, physical, chemical or biological processes that support the sciences and technologies involved in Environmental Engineering.<\/p>\n<\/div>
